1) What are we offering? What are the advantages?

We are offering a service to publications and catalogs to process them with Olive Software; host these publications on our web site; and provide sufficient bandwidth to allow Internet users to browse these pages.

The advantages are:
  • The publications and catalogs are complete and identical to their printed product.
  • Compatible with dial-up and broadband service.
  • All advertisements and artwork are identical to the printed product.
  • Readers can view the pages without downloading any software.
  • Readers can save any article; email any article; or download the whole publication.
  • Readers can search for any key word or combination of words.
  • We provide an index and white space that can hold icons to direct the reader, highlight special items or link to advertisers
  • All advertisements and products can be either linked to another web page or linked directly to an e-commerce shopping basket.
  • We do all the processing, hosting and provide the bandwidth.
  • Access to the product can be restricted by user and password or completely open.

2) How does our software differ from HTML or PDF pages?
  • Our pages are identical to the printed product.
  • We have the ability to do a 2 page spread (ideal for magazines and consumer catalogs).
  • ·We have the ability to create an index and icons in the white space to help readers navigate the publication.
  • All articles and advertisements are linked to your e-commerce application or a web page (if desired).
  • Unlike PDF files, no software download is required.

3) How much training is needed before we can use your service?

None. We do all the “heavy lifting”. 

4) How much does it cost?

Our costs are very affordable. Obviously, the cost is dependent on the number of pages, the frequency of publication and the bandwidth required. Interestingly, the cost is not dependent on the amount of color, the number of linked items or whether or not the product is linked to an e-commerce application. Let us prepare a custom quote for you.
